Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or accepting an invitation, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.

2. Eligibility

The platform is intended for UAE Nationals aged 16 or older. Mentees, mentors, ops administrators, executives, and entity administrators have separate roles with different permissions; your role is set by the program when your account is created (or when an application is approved).

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password and 2FA recovery codes safe. Notify the program immediately if you suspect a compromise. We may suspend or close accounts for violations of these Terms, suspected fraud, or at the program's discretion.

4. Acceptable use

You will not:

• Impersonate another person.
• Upload illegal, harassing, or hateful content.
• Attempt to access data or accounts you don't own.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the platform.
• Use the platform for commercial recruiting outside the program.

5. Content you provide

You retain ownership of content you upload (CVs, photos, bios, notes). By uploading you grant the program a non-exclusive licence to store, display, and process your content as required to operate the program. We may anonymize or delete content per the retention policy in our Privacy Policy.

6. Mentorship relationships

The platform facilitates introductions between mentees and mentors and tracks development plans. Outcomes are not guaranteed. Mentors are volunteers and do not represent the program in any employment, professional-services, or fiduciary capacity unless explicitly stated.

7. Practice experiences and AI features

Some features (AI Coach, practice experiences, CV import, recommendations) use third-party AI providers. Inputs you provide for these features may be sent to those providers under their own privacy terms. Outputs are AI-generated and may be inaccurate; verify before relying on them.

7a. Third-party integrations

The platform integrates with third-party services that you may optionally connect to your account, including:

• Zoom — used to auto-generate, update, and delete video meetings for virtual mentorship sessions when a mentor opts in.
• Google Calendar (planned) — for two-way calendar sync.
• Microsoft Teams (planned) — as an alternative meeting provider.

Use of those services is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We only store the minimum credentials and metadata needed to operate each integration on your behalf (encrypted at rest), and you can disconnect any integration at any time from Settings → Integrations. 8. Disclaimers

The platform is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties — express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from your use of the platform will not exceed AED 100. Some jurisdictions don't allow this limit; in those, our liability is limited to the minimum allowed by law.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time via Settings → Privacy. We may suspend or close your account for breaches of these Terms, with notice when feasible.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Dubai Courts, unless a binding consumer-protection statute in your home country provides otherwise.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified in-app at next sign-in. Continued use after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance.
